I used to be a big fan of Jewel. In fact, I even bought her poetry book (and no I am not ashamed to admit it). But I must admit that I completely forgot about her over the past couple of years. However, all of that changed last night.
She had an appearance on Chelsea Lately and it was really great. She was super cute, funny, quick-witted and above all - real. Not to mention how her life story really is interesting.
It is so nice to see someone famous who appears well adjusted, kind and basically normal.
I am now a recommitted Jewel fan.

She has a really nice site, I remember seeing an interview of her years ago.. and she had talked about her family.... Has she recorded anything lately? A very unique singer.

ReplyDeleteAw, I remember listening to Jewel! I also remember being turned off by the whole "Intuition" phase (firehoses and red PVC miniskirt, anyone?), but she seems down-to-earth again. Which is very refreshing.
